So far so good!
What do you like best about the product?
I think the support has been great during our rollout of Thoropass. Vareity of little questions that were easily answered. I really do like the interface as well and some of the features that I think added more value than other vendors, like the risk management/register section. I already had this manually created on my end BUT it looks so much better in Thoropass and makes it easier to go through and share with the team on a regular basis. Overall though, really happy I chose Thoropass over similar vendors..
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some integration issues along the way, where the integrations need to be redone due to changes made to the integration itself. I don't have admin access to all the integrated sources so I have to reach out to all those admins and reset the integration backup. Very easy setup though, just a hassle to reach out to other admins to reintegrate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass is helping us achieve SOC2 BUT along the way, it is really cleaning up security processes and policies along the way. Having one cloud based interface to reference everything is great! I used a blogging tool before but this is much more streamlined. Prior to SOC2 work, was looking for a tool that would check my cloud enviroments for basic security issues. Most I found out there were very expensive and complex BUT Thoropass provides that functionality so that is also great to have! Makes our cloud enviroments much more secure.

Efficient and Reliable Compliance Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass simplifies the entire compliance process from preparation to audit completion. Its numerous integrations enable efficient collection of audit evidence, while the personnel offboarding feature streamlines the offboarding process. The background check integration ensures the verification of ongoing checks for potential hires. Additionally, the customer support team provides exceptional assistance with weekly check-ins. The initial implementation was straightforward with the provided documentation and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes about the Thoropass platform so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass has streamlined our audit and compliance process, from preparation to audit completion and ongoing maintenance between audits.

Intuitive user interface and guidance throughout the certification and audit process.

Sometimes the platform is very slow, especially around editing documents.

Process driven compliance management. Structured approach from zero to audit.
User Friendly and Excellent Communication
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass has helped our small business to understand how to become SOC2 compliant with ease. We are currently working through the process and have had consistent communication with Alex Scudellari. He has been able to answer all of our questions and has been helpful in understanding each of the processes we have to go through.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I have disliked about Thoropass is the amount of work needed to become compliant. It is a long process that will take time. This is something that happens with most companies, but Thoropass has seemed to be helpful in moving us along as quickly as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass is helping our company become SOC2 complaint. We are a small company that deals with Medicaid billing. We want to ensure our clients that we are up to date and using the best security possiible when it comes to compliance. Once we are done, we can condifidently tell our clients/users that our system is as safe as possible.
ISO 27001 Audit and Policy and Procedures Management
What do you like best about the product?
Prompt response, works well with clients, very open to suggestions, friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have not enhanced all their services, but they are open to suggestions to get them up-to-speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is working to be ISO 27001 compliant. Since this is our first ISO audit, they are working with us to ensure we provide the correct evidence to pass the ISO 27001 audit.
Efficient and effective SOC2 Type II
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation and ease of use, including integrations with our critical services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Forced to review the Draft Audit Report within their website (hard to read) vs. being able to download the document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficient SOC2 Type II
Solid customer support, intuitive interface, easy onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. timely responses from customer support. Plenty of sample documents helped reduce time spent on policy generation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm new to compliance and don't have much to compare; that said, I didn't have any trouble completing the process, nor did I notice any gaps in their feature set. Everything worked great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass helps us manage our HIPAA Compliance. We plan to use it for SOC2 as well, and the ability to re-use existing policies and documentation is going to save us plenty of time.

From the outset, Thoropass impressed us with their deep understanding of ISO 27001 standards. Their consultants brought a wealth of knowledge and practical insights that demystified the certification requirements. They meticulously guided us through each phase, ensuring that we not only met but exceeded the standards expected. Their ability to break down complex concepts into manageable tasks was invaluable.

I dont see any downside about Thoropass.

I have been showed step by step on how to prepare the documentation and enhance the internal procedure.

Expensive. Why does compliance software have to cost so much.

What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass made our SOC-2 journey so easy! We had to start from the ground up and between our compliance expert Danni and the platform we were able to achieve our Type 1 without any issues.

We didn't experience any downsides in our work with Thoropass

We had requests from Clients for SOC-2 documenation. Using Thoropass allowed up to create all the required security policies we needed in order to compliant.
